To many of us, they are just initials: MD. ALS. MS. That is, until one of those "initials" affects someone you know. In our case, the daughter of an XKs Unlimited family member was recently diagnosed with MS, or multiple sclerosis. Suddenly the disease has a name, a face and a delightful giggle we all know. Luckily, her prognosis is excellent and there are now FDA-approved medications that have shown to "modify" or slow down the underlying course of MS, according to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society website (www.nationalmssociety.org).

While great progress has been made toward controlling the effects of MS, XKs Unlimited fully supports the MS Society's efforts to find a cure. We can all help to accelerate their efforts by donating generously. It's incredibly easy to do and there are many ways to participate.
