NEW 4.2 Rear Crankshaft Seal Conversion Kit
One of the few weak points of the Jaguar "XK" six-cylinder engine is the rear crankshaft seal. Early engines don't even have one - later ones make do with an antiquated rope seal. This seal conversion kit uses a real, modern, rear seal for - get this - leak-free sealing! Please note that the crankshaft must be turned down to fit the seal, so this modification is best made during an engine rebuild. A core charge applies as this kit uses a modified original seal housing; we will need your original back, in other words.

Manufactured by XKs Unlimited from type-304 stainless steel, these free-flowing six-cylinder headers are beautifully formed and welded; they far surpass similar parts made in the UK. What's even more amazing, however, is the price. Set includes two polished tubular headers and connector pipes to join to a standard system. Install these headers and you'll enjoy a boost in power and will never have to deal with flaking porcelain again! Thermostat Housing Kit
To the cynical among us, there are two types of Jaguar V-8 thermostat housings: those that have cracked and those that will crack. In hindsight, building them from plastic was probably not a wise choice, which is why we now offer a replacement kit made from aluminum alloy that solves this problem once and for all. Kit includes AJ8-2217 thermostat housing in alloy, AJ8-5875 thermostat cover in alloy, NCA2270AC cap in alloy plus NCA2246BA and NCA2269CA O-Rings. For all 4.0 Liter, non-supercharged XJ-8 and XK8.

The Jaguar "XK" six-cylinder engine has few weak spots. One glaring exception, however, is the rear crankshaft seal, or lack thereof in early engines. They virtually all leak oil. While kits to install a modern rear seal are not new, this kit combines excellent quality and a price that won't break the bank. Use Soft Top Cleaner to remove grime and ingrained dirt; Soft Top Reviver to re-color faded tops to like-new condition and Ultra-Proofer to waterproof your top and protect it from harmful UV rays plus make it mold-and mildew-resistant. Braided Stainless Steel 6-Cylinder Cam Oil Line
This braided, flexible line assembly replaces the standard solid line that is not currently available and prone to fatigue cracks. This flex line will not crack and adds significantly to the under-bonnet cool factor. Supplied with copper washers. New banjo bolts available separately (three required).

Jaguar Specialty Hardware
Eventually, hardware is just plain worn out! Each nut, screw and bolt has only so many tightening cycles. The bolt-heads round over, the slots in screws wear out, and the threads roll over and strip. We have gathered a few of the specialty fasteners found on a lot of Jaguars. Stop "making due" with old hardware and replace with all new.

Mount Kit for XK-140 and XK-150 Fuel Tanks
The XK-140 and XK-150 fuel tanks are mounted with four square rubber buffers, although most are long gone by now. Luckily an XK-150 in our restoration shop yielded some still-living samples and we've had the buffers reproduced (available separately under part number CO-8370.) But in most cases, the studs and hardware supporting the tank are rusted beyond re-use, so we've assembled a complete XK-140 and XK-150 fuel tank mount kit. Twenty-two pieces in all, it includes the aforementioned rubber buffers, plus the front and rear mount studs and correct washers and nuts.
